Essay Question:
Please write a one page essay explaining why you would be the best person to represent the Arlee Celebration and attach it to this application.
Contest Obligations:
· You must be present for these events. We will contact you for specific times:
o There will be an interview on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 “Campers Day,” which you must attend.
o There will be a dance and speech portion of the contest on Thursday Afternoon, July 1, 2010 “Old Style Day.”
o The winner will be announced Thursday, July 1st, 2010. At which time, the winner must assume royalty duties.
· In addition to these events you will be given raffle tickets to sell upon receipt of this application. Although you will not significantly be judged on the number of tickets you sell, your participation in this effort will be considered during the judging.

All proceeds must be returned by Wednesday, June 30, 2010 to the Arlee
Celebration Committee
· Further information will be given on the specific guidelines of the interview and speech.
